During the weekend of July 23rd, pure, unadulterated evil descended upon the unsuspecting residents of Paris in the form of two demons who manifested themselves in the vaguely human entities that you see below....

The lovely Andi... |
and the repulsive Mutant. |
Arriving at roughly 12AM, we stayed at The Four Seasons hotel on George V in Central Paris. To say it was way over the top of five star luxury is an understatement!
The morning of our first day was spent our first day hanging out on the "Left Bank" in Paris' historic Latin Quarter.
Every summer the French turn a bank of the Seine into the Riviera, trucking in twenty tons of white sand and a hundred palm trees. On the afternoon of our first day we toured Paris Plage, or literally "Paris Beach"
On Sunday morning, our last day in Paris, we ran into The Tour de France; now we're not really interested in sports and it was only upon leaving the hotel and running into this huge mob on the Champs Elysees sporting American flags that we investigated and later found out what all the fuss was about!
Sunday afternoon we visited Sacre Coeur, this wonderful church and artists community up in the hills surrounding Paris. While there we took in a Dali show that Mutant had seen last November in London.
We returned to London Monday morning taking the 6:30AM Eurostar out of Paris. Yes, we managed to avoid the champange on this leg of our trip and were at our desks busily working away no later than 10AM. We reccomend a fast Parisian City Break to anyone who is sick of it all.

They have broadband in every room. Mutant always stays at a Four Seasons hotel - they kick ass! Besides, worldwide all suites are arranged the same so you never have to turn on the light to find the toilet at night.
An Apple G4 PowerBook assisted mightily in the preparation of this content, and gently lulled us to sleep each evening.

iTunes provided the sound.
As usual, we thank Apple Computer for a totally positive virus free experience and for their efforts in making the world a better place.
